TITLE:
Stars and Black Holes in Massive Gravity
ستارگان و
سیاهچالهها در گرانشِ جرمدار
Abstract :
I will briefly review Fierz-Pauli massive
gravity -- a large distance modification of general relativity -- and discuss
its star and black hole solutions. In particular the long-standing problem of
the behavior of solutions at zero graviton mass limit will be addressed. I will
argue that while star solutions nicely approach those of general relativity,
black holes are somewhat peculiar. They classically disappear with a
disappearance time inversely proportional to the graviton mass. Therefore, in a
sense, black hole solutions too approach GR solutions as graviton mass goes to
zero.
